Webalo: enterprise mobility made easy

Using Webalo, administrators follow on-screen instructions to quickly select the enterprise resources their users want to access on smartphones or tablets.

Webalo For IT Administrators

Webalo enables administrators to configure mobile access to individual enterprise applications or combine functionality and information from multiple applications. They can then consolidate everything in a simple set of menus on mobile users’ devices to provide each employee’s individualized connection to the enterprise – a personalized, instantly accessible set of options that makes users more efficient and productive.

Webalo provides direct mobile connection to:

Databases

Webalo enables mobile access to any of the leading enterprise databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, & MySQL). Existing database SQL commands are automatically imported into Webalo so that administrators can easily enable real-time, mobile database access.

XML Web Services

Webalo automatically consumes XML Web services (described by the WSDL standard) and transforms them into smartphone or tablet-based tasks that let users complete business processes through real-time interaction with enterprise applications.

Reports

Reports from business intelligence platforms or other enterprise applications (Excel or CSV format) can be imported into Webalo and configured for delivery to smartphones and/or tablets in minutes. Administrators simply upload a copy of the report, answer some questions, and then save the resulting configuration. Each time reports are updated from the enterprise application, Webalo receives a copy of the latest data (email or upload), transforms it and, in seconds, delivers it to users for interactive viewing on their mobile devices.

Websites

Webalo talks to HTML Web sites (including sites with intensive use of JavaScript), and lets companies create a mobile interface to an existing application by capturing the application's web interface. Webalo guides administrators through the simple steps required to extract the data from those sites and generate a smartphone/tablet interface that provides users with secure mobile access to any web-facing enterprise application.
